Dear CHTC users,

Are you working with microbiome data or other large-scale biological datasets?

Join us for our next Bioinformatics Cafà session:
Running Microbiome Analysis at Scale on CHTC, led by Dr. Patricia Tran, Bioinformatics & Computational Pipeline Scientist in the Department of Bacteriology.

In this session, weâll explore how to run a 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing workflow on CHTCâs High Throughput Computing clusters. This includes:
  • An introduction to microbiome analysis theory
  • Practical computing skills including
    • HTCondor
    • DAGMan (a workflow manager)
    • Software containers

Youâll receive online training materials, including a step-by-step guide, allowing you to practice and apply it to your own research data.
