Partial ongoing outage of some CHTC servers

Greetings,

Since sometime this morning, many execute servers in the HTC System and HPC Cluster have been powered off automatically (including many researcher-owned servers) due to an unexpected cooling outage in the Discovery Building datacenter. HTC submit servers and HPC head nodes are still operational and all user data in home directories should be accessible through the outage. Some jobs will have been interrupted when execute servers powered off, and interrupted HPC jobs will need to be resubmitted.

Given the holiday, it is yet unclear when the outage will be fully resolved, but we will send any status changes via email.
