[Chtc-users] HTCondor Week is next week: office hours cancelled, free-to-campus talks May 2 and 5

Greetings CHTC users,

We have two announcements related to HTCondor Week 2017, our annual HTCondor conference that is happening next week.

Office hours cancelled: Due to facilitator participation in HTCondor Week, office hours will be cancelled next week (May 1 - 5). Regular office hours will resume at our usual times on May 9.Â

Free talks: In an expansion of our previous announcement, there are now two sessions of talks available for FREE to UW Madison students, faculty and staff:

• Tuesday, May 2, all day: tutorial talks on HTCondor usage and administration
  
• Friday, May 5, morning: research talks (featuring several of our very own CHTC users!)

The conference is hosted at the Fluno Center. If you're interested in these talks, you can show up without registering. Note that admission to these talks does not include meals. If you would like to attend on Wednesday or Thursday, or eat meals any day of the conference, you will need to register. See the conference website for the schedule, location, and registration information: https://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/HTCondorWeek2017/
