[Chtc-users] Follow-up: Problem with submit.chtc.wisc.edu

 Hi all,

There was a short power glitch early yesterday evening. It
appeared to affect most of campus and perhaps a portion of
the city of Madison as well. During that time, the disk array
that holds /home and /SOAR lost contact with the server.

After several long filesystem checks, those spaces appear
to be intact and are again available on submit.chtc.wisc.edu.
Please verify that your directories are as you expect them to be.

This is a good time to recall that those spaces are intended
as working storage only and as such do not undergo backup.
Please make sure that you move your results to more appropriate
storage for maximum safety.
