[Condor-users] Jobs use only a few percent of CPU

Hello,

I am trying to set up condor on several dedicated machines, i.e. condor could use all CPU power. However, it turns out that many times the condor jobs only use a few percent CPU power: Using top, the state of the jobs is mostly "D" and "S", and only sometimes "R" (=running).

Any ideas?
I am using ubuntu 10.4 with condor 7.2.4.
