Ok I buy that. So whats the use of this *insertAd*, if it is going lastonly for *UPDATE_INTERVAL*

Most folks are using it to advertise resources that are not representedby a condor_startd, such as an entire cluster, or a gatekeeper, or someother resource like an instrument.
