- Subject: [Condor-users] rescue DAG changes
Folks,
We are planning some changes in how rescue DAGs work in DAGMan. The big
change is that there would be an option to automatically run the latest
rescue DAG, if it exists, instead of running the "normal" DAG. This would
mean, though, that DAGMan would have to "know" what the rescue DAG name
will always be, given a "normal" DAG name.
As a result, we would be removing the -rescue command line flag that
allows you to specify an explicit rescue DAG name to DAGMan. Would this
cause problems for anyone? (We figure that 99% of people are just leaving
the rescue DAG name alone, but if you are not, please let us know!)
